A smoothie packed with nutritious nutrients, vitamins, and antioxidants is indeed a blessing. Lately, I’ve been on a ginger kick and decided to twist this smoothie with a pinch of ginger. This smoothie only needs five simple ingredients.
Pineapple is one of my favourite tropical fruit. Pineapple is loaded with nutrients, antioxidants, and let’s not forget that it’s delicious. Pineapple is easy to add to any diet and can be used in a variety of ways.
Few recipe ideas using pineapple:
Breakfast: Pineapple smoothie
Lunch: Grilled chicken topped with pineapple salsa
Dinner: Chicken stir-fry with pineapple chunks
Dessert: Pineapple upside-down cake
Mangoes not only taste yummy but it contains antioxidants which help to protect your body from any form of cancer. Mangoes also include a high level of vitamin C along with many other significant benefits.

Ginger has excellent health benefits and can be used for medicinal purposes such as relieving nausea, aid with digestion, and cold/flu relief. If or when you do get a cold, prepare ginger tea. I prefer to cut pieces of ginger and add to boiling water. Then sweeten one cup with one teaspoon sugar.
Prep time: 5-10 mins
- 1 1/2 cup Fresh Pineapple (Chunks)
- 1/2 cup Mango (ripe & chopped)
- 1/4 tbsp Ginger (peeled & minced)
- 1/2 cup Almond milk
- 1/2 cup Yogurt (plain low-fat)
- Combine all 5 ingredients and blend to your satisfaction.
- Pour and enjoy!!!
